Natural-gas vehicles use the same basics as gasoline-powered vehicles. Basically, the fuel (natural propane in this case) is combined with air in the cylinder of any four-stroke engine and then captivated by a spark plug heading a piston up and down. However are some differences between petroleum and gasoline in terms of flammability and ignition temperatures (see chart below), NGVs by themselves operate on the same fundamental models as gasoline-powered vehicles.
Nonetheless, some modifications are required to call and make an NGV work efficiently. These alterations are primarily in the gasoline storage tank, the serp and the chassis.
