Truck carrying excavator runs into building

A truck carrying excavator has run into a building at Kadadwen in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality.

The truck with registration number AS 8661-09 failed in changing its gear and collided with a GMC Truck with registration number GW 633- S, causing it to run into a building on the roadside.

Half of the building subsequently collapsed, but residents claim the owner of the building was never injured as she was outside.

The driver of the truck, whose name is still unknown according to residents, absconded after the accident.

The Upper Denkyira East Police Commander, Supt. Dela Dzansi who was at the scene hinted that the police have started investigations into the accident.
