Zhuhai Yuchai Is Intensifying Construction and Expected to Put into Operation in June

This is construction site of Zhuhai Yuchai’s project. Since November last year, the whole project has been constructed smoothly. Now we can see the hustle and bustle of the construction site of steel structure factory.

In the steel structure factory, 18 stand columns have been hoisted, and workers were moving steel bars to vehicles, and adding them to the framework of the steel structure factory through the crane. The main factory of the workshop is expected to form at the end of March. After completion, the factory will become the largest single steel structure factory in south China, covering an area of about 48,000 square meters.

We can see that 17 pillars have been erected on the right and one pillar has been erected on the left, and we will build project of steel structure roof after erecting 3 pillars on the left.

It is understood that Yuchai project building site has been constructed by over 400 builders all the time since the third day of the year, and great changes have taken place here, reflecting the speed of Yuchai builders. For example, six-storied and over 7,000 square meters of R&D office building was constructed one layer in 5 days, and will be completed at the end of March.

The construction of the project is tight. We have strict requirements on construction party, including shortening their Spring Festival holiday and 24-hour construction, so the project’s progress is very fast.

Zhuhai Yuchai has been listed as “Adjust Structure, Maintain Growth” Key Project of Guangdong “Twelfth Five-year” Plan and “2010 Guangdong Key Projects”. In the “Twelfth Five-year” Plan and acceleration of Zhuhai economic and social development, Zhuhai Yuchai’s builders intensify construction in full mental state and fighting will to ensure operation in June and finish of the first engines in November this year.

We are very confident in the project as we are the bellwether of the industry. We will produce the first engine at the end of the year, and at the moment, we believe we can set a good example to advanced manufacturing industry of Zhuhai.

Our low-speed high-power (marine) diesel manufacturing project was invested by Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group and settled in Fushan Industrial Park in August 2009, with a total investment of RMB 2.5 billion. The first-phase project covers an area of 500 mu, has an investment of RMB 1.04 billion, and is expected to achieve design capacity of 1.2 million horsepower in 2014 and 3 million horsepower in 2016. Now it has received an order of 10 low speed machines which cost about RMB 160 million.
